Oklahoma Land Run of 1889 - Crossing Canadian River from Purcell

Today these are Canadian, Cleveland, Kingfisher, Logan, Oklahoma, and Payne Counties.  In Purcell the McClain County Museum and City Hall have historical photos on display of the Boomers who followed the legal guidelines.  Finding portraits of the Sooners are unavailable because they crossed the border lines either in the night or from remote regions to hide their entry before the legal start.
